Makes about 30 squares


  • 220ml NuYu Macadamia Milk
  • 60g coconut flour
  • 260g almond meal
  • 90g cocoa powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 15g baking powder
  • 150g light brown sugar
  • 190ml Coconut Oil softened (or unsalted butter)
  • 3 eggs
  • 5ml vanilla extract
  • 250g dark chocolate chips
  • 90 g chopped
  • macadamia nuts to garnish


  1. Line a rectangular baking pan, 20x30cm with baking paper
  2. Heat the oven to 170°C
  3. Sift together the dry ingredients
  4. Cream together the sugar and coconut oil. Add the eggs one at a time
  5. Fold in half of the dry ingredients with the macadamia milk
  6. Add the remaining dry ingredients and spoon into the prepared baking pan. Smooth over the surface and sprinkle over chopped macadamia nuts
  7. Bake for 20-30mins until the top springs back to the touch, or an inserted skewer comes out clean
  8. Allow to cool before slicing
